    Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time Electrician.  The Electrician is responsible to the HVAC/R Supervisor to perform a variety of functions, including installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, and equipment.

    High school graduate with specialized training in residential and commercial wiring, motor control, and related items either during or after high school, or through vocational technical school.  Knowledge of appropriate hand tools and basic wiring practices.  Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills.  Ability to read blue prints is necessary.  Minimum of three years' experience in the electrical trade is preferred.  Off shift call in when needed possible.

  • Financial Aid Counselor- Reviewing Applications/Interviewing

    Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time Financial Aid Counselor in the Office of Financial Aid.  The position is directly responsible to the Director of Financial Aid to: Counsel families on financial aid application process while providing honest information about Saint Francis University with an emphasis on the value and importance  of a liberal arts education.  Process financial aid applications with sensitivity to the diverse student populations' needs and attention to special needs of undergraduate, graduate, continuing education, and international students as well as students in the various minority groups represented on campus. Manage student federal and campus-based employment program and oversee the work-study students within the Financial Aid Office.  Develop financial aid debt management program and materials for undergraduate and graduate students.  Package all graduate students with special emphasis on Master populations as well as Division of Professional Studies student populations.  Complete and manage consortium agreements for both Master and Undergraduate populations.

    Bachelors degree in business administration, accounting, finance, education, computer science or related field with 1-3 years of experience in a professional setting required.  Progressive experience in financial aid/higher education setting preferred.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Extensive experience and knowledge with the following software: PowerFAIDS, COD, ELM Resources, FISAP, WS FTP, SQL, Jenzabar, PowerBuilder, and Microsoft software products; Experience with PHEAA Needs Analysis.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Acceptance to one of the University's graduate programs as a full-time student
    • Each department may have additional requirements (ex. athletics- coaching/playing experience)
    • Once hired, completion of a Graduate Assistant contract through Academic Affairs- terms to be determined between the sponsoring department and the Graduate Assistant.  If hired in an athletic coaching position another contract is issued from Human Resources.

    Tuition Remission:

    • Graduate assistants are eligible for full tuition remission for up to 9 credits per semester.  Summer varies according to each department.  Positions as a coach within Athletics may offer a stipend in addition to tuition remission

    Bachelor's degree required.  Intercollegiate competitive or coaching experience required for coaching positions.  Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills are essential.

     

    Compensation for the position is tuition remission in a Saint Francis University Master's degree program, plus a stipend if coaching.  The successful candidate must apply and be admitted to a Saint Francis University's masters program in order to qualify for the positions.

    Saint Francis University, a member of the NCAA Division I competing in the Northeast Conference, invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Athletic Performance Coach.  The Graduate Assistant is directly responsible to the Director of Athletic Performance to assist with all aspects o0f implementation of the Athletic Performance programs of 23 Division I sports and Spirit Groups.

    Candidate must have a commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the Northeast Conference, and the NCAA.  In addition, the candidates must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Francis University.

    Bachelor's degree is required.  Certification by the NSCA (CSCS) or the CSCCa (SCCC) required.  First Aid, CPR, and AED certification through any of the accredited institutions is required. Strong verbal and interpersonal communications skills are preferred.

The Graduate Assistant is responsible to the Director of Athletic Creative Video & the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications in support of the creation and distribution of materials related to 23 Division I programs and Spirit Groups.  Also collaboration with the full department in support of the game day experience.  

    Candidate must have a commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the Northeast Conference, and the NCAA.  In addition, the candidates must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Francis University.

    Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Broadcasting, Communication, TV Production, Journalism, or related field.  Previous experience is preferred in operating a camera under various conditions, operating a camera in a live event environment, digital video editing, Adobe Suite and other editing applications, and a basic knowledge of sport production.  In addition, preferred experience with: collegiate athletic communications, Adobe Creative Suite (MAC), Stat Crew, NCAA Genius Live Stats, web streaming/video equipment, Daktronics Display (LED scorer's table/message center), and graphic/production design.  Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.

  • Aviation Maintenance Technician Lead Instructor- Accepting Applications

    Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time, 12-month position of Aviation Maintenance Technician Lead Instructor in the Aviation Maintenance Technician School in the Division of Professional Studies.  The Aviation Maintenance Technician Lead Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students pursuing careers in aircraft maintenance.  The role requires a deep understanding of aviation maintenance practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in the field.

    Successful candidates will meet, at a minimum, the following qualifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required. Several years of experience working as an Aviation Maintenance Technician.  Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices.  Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to problem solve and think critically.  Experience with aircraft and technology used in the field.  Willingness to work in a dynamic and evolving educational environment.  Strong commitment to safety and compliance.  Preferred qualifications include previous teaching or instructional experience in an Aviation Maintenance program. Additional aviation-related certifications and endorsements a plus.
